University of Texas Orthopaedic Trauma Service

About Us: Mission Statement

The Orthopaedic Trauma Service at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston serves the community twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year, by providing the highest quality of fracture care. We achieve this through innovative research, the education of future orthopaedic surgeons, and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Our multidisciplinary team includes surgeons and physicians who specialize in orthopaedic fracture care and polytrauma. We are supported by our physician assistants, residents, and fellows.

The Orthopaedic Trauma Service supports veterans of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom through our participation in Project Victory.
